A Lifelong Passion for Stories with Heart
I believe a great story is a spark. It’s a force that can illuminate a new perspective, make us laugh through hard times, and connect us to the world and each other. For me, storytelling has always been about crafting that spark—creating work that helps us feel more invigorated, more passionate, and maybe even a little more in love with life.
This belief started early, in a childhood fueled by imagination. I devoured tales of adventure and fantasy, felt the shiver of suspense from Stephen King, and saw new worlds emerge from the pages of Robert Heinlein. I realized then that words had the power to transport and transform. That passion for connection took me beyond books; it led me to learn new languages and, as a teenager, to live in Germany, where I discovered that the human heart speaks a universal language, no matter the culture.
That love for connection couldn't be contained on the page alone. It pulled me onto the stage as an actor and behind the camera as a filmmaker, where I directed shorts, music videos, and a documentary celebrating the vibrant creative spirit of Los Angeles. In every medium, the goal was the same: to find and share the humor, resilience, and passion of the human experience.
Witnessing so many brilliant creatives struggle with their own spark ignited a new expression of my purpose. I realized that my mission wasn't just to tell my own stories, but to help others bring theirs to life. This is why I began coaching writers, developing courses, and writing my book, "Crush Writer's Block Forever." It’s why I’ve had the honor of editing nearly 40 scripts in the last 3 years—each one a unique world waiting to be discovered.
Today, this mission is the heartbeat of everything I do. As a screenwriter and novelist, I’m crafting my eleventh feature film, I just finished a Sci-Fi pilot for TV with a writing partner, and am penning the sequel to my romance, "Reunion." As a director, I shape narratives that aim to uplift and inspire. As a writing coach, I serve as a creative ally for storytellers needing to find their way back to joy. And as a Script Supervisor on sets like Haus of Vicious, I meticulously protect the story’s integrity, ensuring the final product connects flawlessly with its audience.
